Online Bibles and Study Tools

Thanks to the efforts of many Christians, the Holy Bible and tools to study it are available online. I've gathered together some of my favorites here for anyone who's curious.

Bible Gateway
Easily the most recognized online Bible out there, Bible Gateway allows you to read the Holy Bible in over 150 translations, completely for free. Other free services include Bible reading plans and access to some commentaries. More advanced features require a subscription fee, but these are optional.

Bible Hub
Bible Hub's coolest feature lies in how it displays verses: each verse is displayed using multiple translations, plus related verses and some commentary. Paired with Bible Gateway, this is a powerful resource for studying God's Word.

Bible Study Tools' Interlinear Bible
An interlinear bible shows a translation alongside the original text. This is useful if you want to study how different passages were translated, but it's mostly a niche thing. I say mostly because there is one very important use for such a thing: it can prove that certain churches are lying about what certain verses mean (more on that later).
